8:15am Update

Aiden's first day was awesome! Much like his mom and dad, he is very mellow and loves to sleep and eat. Throughout the night the nurses did periodic checks for his blood sugar and everything is great!

Kate only got about 20 minutes of sleep last night...not because of Aiden crying or anything, but because she was just so amazed with him and she couldn't keep her eyes off him.

The grandmas are on their way to hang out so I'll e heading home to shower and rest.

The nurses are here right now to take Aiden for his little procedure. Ouch! He's a big boy and he'll do great.

Thanks to Dr. Lisac and the nurses here at Rush Copley! They have done a wonderful job with everything. Kudos!

I think we would love to have visitors. Call ahead so we can plan appropriately. Knowing Kate she'll have to put on some make-up and get freshened up!

Paw Paw Joe is up and introducing Aiden to the world.
He opened the door to the Seabright Restaurant and announced that he was a grandfather to Aiden James White and people applauded.
He is passing the applause from the left coast to you.
love,

Wow! Speaking from experience with big babies...you need to get him to wear as many of the 0-3 month outfits as possible... he won't be in them for long! Maybe a month! Congratulations! We're all so happy for you, and Kyle and Aidan are going to get along great!

The video brings tears to our eyes.
Thanks for doing that.
Make sure you keep transfering the video to other devices as technology transitions over time (years) and then play on his 16th and 21st birthday. He will love it.
love,
paw paw joe
